On June 1, Belkis filed a response challenging JSO’s position that the unredacted reports and jail video are exempt from release as “criminal investigative information.” Her filing argues that JSO has acknowledged its own investigation is complete, and that the agency does not have standing to claim the exemption on behalf of the FBI.
